Welcome to Latched On. Throughout these Terms and Conditions, “I”, “me”, and “my” refer to Latched On. These terms govern your use of my website and the services I offer, including antenatal feeding support, postnatal feeding support, home visits, virtual consultations, and follow up support.

By booking a consultation or using my services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions and my Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not book a service. If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact me before booking.

Any personal information you share with me will be stored securely and handled in line with UK GDPR and data protection legislation. Your information is used solely for the purpose of providing safe, appropriate care and support.

I may, where necessary, share relevant information with your midwife, health visitor, GP, or another healthcare professional if I believe this is in your or your baby’s best interests. I will inform you if this happens unless doing so could place you or your baby at risk.

With your permission, I may occasionally seek professional input from another IBCLC to support your care. Your identity will always be protected.

As part of maintaining my IBCLC credential, I engage in professional supervision, reflection, and ongoing education. Any discussion of cases during this process is fully anonymised.

I do not record consultations. If you wish to record a session for your own use, please let me know in advance.

Communication may take place via email or WhatsApp. Please be aware that WhatsApp is not a fully secure communication platform.

When booking a service, you may be asked to provide personal and payment information. You confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you have the legal right to use the payment method supplied. Payments are required in advance to secure your appointment.

I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to illness, family emergency, or circumstances beyond my control. In these situations, you will be offered a rescheduled appointment or a full refund.

By booking a consultation, you consent to me working with you and your baby during the consultation and any agreed follow up support.

Lactation support often involves visual assessment of feeding and may involve exposure of the breasts. I may ask to look at or gently touch your breasts to assess feeding, positioning, or breast health. I will always explain what I am doing and ask for your consent before any contact. You may withdraw consent at any time, and I will stop immediately.

During face to face consultations, I may also assess your baby’s mouth. I will explain this beforehand and follow appropriate hygiene and safety measures.

I am not a medical doctor and cannot diagnose medical conditions. I provide evidence based information and support to help you make informed decisions. Where concerns arise that fall outside my scope of practice, I will advise you to seek support from your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional. If I suspect an oral restriction such as tongue tie, I can discuss this with you and recommend further assessment by a qualified practitioner.

For virtual consultations, a 50% refund is available if cancellation is made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours are non refundable. If you are running late, please contact me as soon as possible. If you have not contacted me within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the appointment will be considered missed and no refund will be issued.

For home visits, a 50% refund is available if cancellation is made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled visit. Cancellations within 24 hours are non refundable.

All content on this website, including text and resources provided as part of your care, remains the property of Latched On unless otherwise stated. Content may not be copied, reproduced, shared, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
