About Me

I’m a registered NHS midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), with seven years’ experience supporting families through pregnancy and life with a new baby.

I currently work as a community midwife, which keeps me closely connected to the day to day realities of family life. Through this work, I see just how essential personal, consistent, evidence based feeding support is, and how often families are left needing more time, reassurance, and continuity. That experience is what led me to train as a lactation consultant, so I could offer calm, unhurried, one to one support.

My approach is gentle, evidence based, and completely non judgemental. I take the time to really listen, to understand what’s going on for you and your baby, and to meet you where you are. There’s no pressure, no one right way, and no rushing. We work together to find a feeding plan that feels realistic, supportive, and right for you.

I offer home visits across South and Central London, as well as virtual support, to suit a wide range of needs and individual situations. I am fully insured through Holistic Insurance.

I chose the name Latched On because feeding is about more than just latch. It’s about feeling supported, reassured, and held through what can be a vulnerable and emotional time. My aim is to help you feel informed, confident, and supported, whatever your feeding journey looks like.
