South London Lactation Consultant
I offer calm, compassionate breastfeeding and feeding support for you and your baby, at home or online, across South and Central London.
I support families at every stage of their feeding journey, especially when feeding feels painful, challenging, or overwhelming, with clear, evidence-based guidance and consistent, compassionate care.
Whether you’re navigating latch difficulties, concerns about milk supply, or feeding that doesn’t feel quite right. I offer unhurried, non judgemental support to help you feel confident and supported in your feeding journey.
Hello! I’m Shradha
I’m a registered NHS midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with seven years’ experience supporting families through pregnancy and early parenthood. Alongside my work as a community midwife, I provide calm, one-to-one feeding support that gives families the time, reassurance, and continuity they’re often missing.
My approach is gentle, evidence based, and completely non judgemental. I take the time to listen, understand what matters to you, and support you in finding a feeding plan that feels right for you and your baby.
Latched On reflects my belief that feeding is about more than technique. It’s about feeling supported, reassured, and confident during a vulnerable and emotional time, whatever your feeding journey looks like.
Services
Support is often the difference between coping and confidence. When you’re listened to, reassured, and given time, things begin to feel clearer, more manageable, and less overwhelming. Support creates space for confidence to grow.
“We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.”

Antenatal Support
Antenatal feeding preparation is a one-hour session designed to help you feel informed and confident before your baby arrives. It’s recommended between 34 and 37 weeks of pregnancy and covers what to expect after birth, how to recognise effective feeding, and how to manage common challenges.

Postnatal Home Visit
Postnatal home visits offer practical, personalised breastfeeding support in your own space, when feeding questions or concerns arise. We will talk through your birth experience, assess how feeding is going, and address any challenges you may be facing. I’ll observe a feed and work with you to create a personalised plan.
